Bright Futures is a national education and training project aiming to reduce and prevent child sexual abuse.
Join Prof Michael Salter, Professor of Criminology in the School of Social Sciences at the University of New South Wales, to discuss a global study’s shock findings on the number of Australian men who are sexually attracted to children and teens.
Professor Salter is the Chair of the Grace Tame Foundation and a former president of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation.
Professor Salter was one of the researchers in the world-first study which surveyed thousands of men across Australia, the UK and the US which found that one in six Australian men report having sexual feelings towards children.
During this webinar he will explain the ramifications of these results and how to prevent adult men from becoming perpetrators of child sexual abuse.
