Prof Richard Wortley AM is an internationally recognised psychologist and criminologist with extensive experience in offender behaviour, crime prevention, and security science. Beginning his career as a psychologist in the New South Wales prison system, he later held academic positions across Australia, including at Griffith University, before joining University College London in 2010 as Director of the Jill Dando Institute of Security and Crime Science and Head of the Department of Security and Crime Science. He is a former National Chair of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Forensic Psychologists.
